Another visit to Mi Carreta, tried a couple of meals to share and was very happy with the food. Best part of this place is you can order a 32oz beer which makes less trips for the waiters! great place for friends or family. Enjoy.

We were so thrilled to finally try this place for the first time! My husband went for the Quesadilla Texan, and wow, it was absolutely scrumptious! The portion size was massive; we could have easily shared and still left satisfied! As for me, I chose the Chicken Chimichanga, and instead of the usual little square flour tortilla I expected, it came wrapped in long tortillas. The chicken was decent, but it leaned more towards a roasted flavor rather than the spicy kick I was hoping for. But hey, everyone's palate is different! The menu is a treasure trove, boasting over 100 tempting items—it’s like a foodie’s dream come true! The atmosphere? Absolutely delightful! The booths offered plenty of spacious comfort, and the whole place was beautifully decorated, creating a charming vibe that was refreshingly quiet. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu—there's so much to try!
It's hard for Mexican restaurants to stand out with so many of them out there. But MI Carreta is one that's risen to the top. There were so many fantastic options it was difficult to choose. Fresh and warm homemade chips with and delicious salsa were just the start, plus a full bar. I loved the decor, and the plated presentation was a feast for the eyes. If you love Mexican food and excellent service, MI Carreta is a step above. I'll definitely be back.
I have had excellent customer service both times I visited. I also Doordash, and pick up orders for them sometimes. But first... the food.... The Jalapenos con quest, wrapped in bacon should need no explanation. Let's just say I was really upset when I forgot my to-go container, that had 4 WHOLE jalapenos left The chorizo there is the Best I've ever had, albeit I am a chorizo toddler. Cooked and spiced just right, ground perfectly. Onto the Mango Margarita... blended just right, and tasted excellent. Normally, ice melts in my mixed drinks before I finish them. Such was not the case this time. I saw the bottom of that glass quicker than expected. As for the Dashes, their orders are always ready, and I never heard a complaint from a customer. So... 5 stars all the way around!!!!
We had a party of 26 and we had the best after Christmas meal ever! I ordered the carne asada it was great! Huge plate of food too! Given how busy they were plus our larger group I believe the staff was fast and super prompt to our needs. Thank you.
Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. No wait time to be seated. Nice looking restaurant. They bring a large bowl of chips and salsa. I liked the chips, the salsa was good but very mild so I had to add some of the hot sauce to give it a little kick. Food was pretty good. The wait staff was good and really trying hard to provide good service. They had a good lunch special menu and made a cheap bill at the end. Good experience overall.
The food I had was great. The service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
